As an attorney helping low-income families with probate, there are so many laws that shouldn't exist and that disproportionately harm low-income people. I'm running because we need laws that work and that work for everyone.

These bad laws keep West Baltimore from thriving and they keep so many houses vacant. The first thing West Baltimore needs is not for the government to lift it up. The first thing West Baltimore needs is for the government to stop pushing it down. There are many ways that the government unjustly pulls money out of West Baltimore that I will work to fix once elected. 

I am particularly equipped to fix these issues because I’m an attorney who works with low-income families and because I see these issues play out in my own neighborhood.
